The Loudoun Ballet Company Apprentice Program
The Loudoun Ballet Company began its Apprentice Program in 1998 in order to give aspiring ballet dancers the opportunity to develop the required technique and performance skills necessary to pursue a professional career in ballet.
Apprentices are invited to join the Company upon thorough evaluation by its Artistic Director, and following an interview by members of the LBC's Apprentice Committee.
The Junior Apprentices comprise a group of talented, promising young dancers being groomed to ascend to the Apprentice position, ensuring a continuing level of seasoned performers.
They are held to the same requirements, expectations, and high standards as the Senior Apprentices.
All Loudoun Ballet Company Apprentices are upper-level students of The Loudoun School of Ballet.
Most have made dance a major focus of their lives since early childhood.
The Loudoun Ballet Company recognizes their hard work, advanced level of training, personal sacrifice, and total dedication when casting its performances.
