Rehearsal Dress Code Female Performers
• Hair up and out of the face
• ALL dancing roles: Wear leotard and footed tights
All Performers
• Wear proper shoes for your dances
• Wear warm and comfortable clothing when not actually dancing –
periods of strenuous activity followed by periods of rest can cause performers to chill
or catch colds
NOTE: The choice of your role in The Nutcracker
was largely based on your technique and personal appearance at your audition.
Radical changes in either may mean a change in your role assignment.
Please do not cut bangs, perm hair, change hair color to a nontraditional shade,
or change hair length to such a degree that a classical ballet hairstyle is impossible.
