The Nutcracker The Nutcracker Rehearsals

Rehearsal Schedule
The latest edition of the Rehearsal Schedule is available for download here. Any changes to the schedule will be posted both here and on the LBC bulletin board at The Loudoun School of Ballet. The latest update to the schedule is: 11/30/2011

Rehearsal Dress Code
Female Performers
• Hair up and out of the face
• ALL dancing roles: Wear leotard and footed tights

All Performers
• Wear proper shoes for your dances
• Wear warm and comfortable clothing when not actually dancing –
periods of strenuous activity followed by periods of rest can cause performers to chill or catch colds

NOTE: The choice of your role in The Nutcracker was largely based on your technique and personal appearance at your audition. Radical changes in either may mean a change in your role assignment.
Please do not cut bangs, perm hair, change hair color to a nontraditional shade, or change hair length to
such a degree that a classical ballet hairstyle is impossible.

• Any changes will be posted on the LBC website and on the LBC bulletin board at Loudoun School of Ballet.
• Late arrivals and early departures are not acceptable.
• Roles may be reassigned when dancers miss rehearsals.
• Silence in the auditorium during rehearsals.
• Clean up is every performer's responsibility - including toe tape, band-aids, clothing, water bottles,
